Sometimes we see people looking happy, living their best life. They appear well put together, everything is great, great job, handsome husband, cute child/children, beautiful house, expensive car/s, money in the bank. All their security boxes checked. Everything that the ideal person would want out of life, that they think would make them happy. That feeling that you feel inside whether it be contentment, pleasure or unbothered as some would put it. When in actuality it might not be so to the person on the inside. Everyone at some point in their life has asked themselves this question. Therapists have spent years studying people to find answers to this commonly ask question.
Most times when we ask ourselves this question, we are feeling powerless to change things. We see our friends succeeding (making it), for some, appear to be making it. We may even feel a bit jealous. Just know it’s ok to feel jealous, it should make you work harder to meet your own goals.
This question becomes a problem when you fail to experience what you would like to experience because you are always a spectator (outside looking in) this will definitely leave you missing out on your own life. If you are at this point and it is a problem you might need to think about what choices are available to you, seek help from someone who can give you more insight into why you feel like an outsider.
Everything Thomas has, you can get it too. It’s available to you, just be willing to work hard, dedicate your time and energy, set goals and put measures or steps in place to achieve these goals. Remember to always pray on it.
